This is an anonymous journal.

I’m not anonymous because I’m hiding something illegal or dramatic.
I’m anonymous because honesty is easier when ego is quiet.

I’m a man in my mid-40s. I’m overweight. I’m carrying more than I should — physically, mentally, and emotionally. I’ve tried to reset my life more times than I care to admit, and I’ve learned that motivation fades faster than excuses.

So instead of promising transformation, I’m documenting reality.

Why This Exists

This site exists to record the process, not sell the outcome.

No programs.
No coaching.
No affiliate links.
No “10 easy steps.”

Just what actually happens when someone decides — again — to take responsibility for their health and life.

Some weeks will show progress.
Some weeks won’t.
Both matter.

Why It’s Anonymous (For Now)

Anonymity removes performance.

It lets me write about:

  • Food without pretending discipline is easy
  • Exercise without pretending I enjoy it
  • Mental health without pretending it’s linear
  • Failure without dressing it up as a lesson

There will be a point where I attach my name to this.
That moment will be earned — not forced.

Until then, the words matter more than who wrote them.

What You’ll Find Here

  • Weekly or semi-weekly journal entries
  • Honest updates on weight, health, and habits (when relevant)
  • Notes on routines, discipline, ADHD, motivation, and burnout
  • Reflections on midlife, responsibility, and starting over
  • Posts written on good days and bad ones

This isn’t a highlight reel.
It’s a log.

What This Is Not

This is not:

  • Medical advice
  • Fitness coaching
  • A transformation guarantee
  • A motivational platform

If you’re looking for certainty, this won’t give it to you.
If you’re looking for honesty, it might.

What “Progress” Means Here

Progress isn’t perfection.

Progress is:

  • Showing up after slipping
  • Writing instead of quitting
  • Carrying a little less than before
  • Staying honest when it’s uncomfortable

Some changes will be visible.
Some won’t.

Both count.

How Often I’ll Post

I’m aiming for consistency, not volume.

Posts will come when there’s something real to record — usually once a week. Sometimes more. Sometimes less.

If I miss time, I’ll say why.
If I disappear, that will mean something too.

If You’re Reading This

You don’t need to fix anything about yourself before starting.

If you’re here because you’re tired, stuck, or restarting again — you’re in the right place.

This is simply the record of the weight I carry,
and what happens when I try to put some of it down.
